AIX Support person. Local Candidates preferred! Williamsville, NY (Buffalo) Contract assignment for 6 months with a probable extension of an additional 6 months or more. Qualifying phone screen and in person interview with the hiring manager will be required. This is an on-site opportunity, no remote capabilities.
Responsibilities: • Assist with day to day administration, operations and support of AIX and Unix for unlocking users, file sharing, file system cleanups, etc. • AIX Support will share some of the day-to-day responsibilities of the department manager. There is currently a team of 3 people on the UNIX team.
