This person will configure clustering and replication. Troubleshoot and tune for performance, and perform application releases. *Responsibilities* o Responsible for producing customized websites that integrate with our clients existing Software o Responsibility for several aspects of DB projects, such as access methods, device allocation, and security. o Responsible for gathering client requirements, producing work estimates based on the requirements, designing and coding customized dynamic DB & web applications, and testing o Create technical documentation; perform design; evaluate 3rd party solutions and prepare recommendations and cost benefit analysis for their use o Develop proof-of-concept prototypes o Design and implement solutions to satisfy nonfunctional requirements such as scalability, usability, maintainability and supportability. o Respond to enhancement approval and implementing changes in a timely fashion. o Occasional after hours availability via mobile phone or pager may be required *Experience* *Education * College Degree and equivalent experience *Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 3 years experience with Microsoft web-based development tools, ASP, ASP .Net, VB .Net, MS SQL-Server MYSQL HTML, JavaScript, VB6Software Engineering, Database Design. * *Skills* o Demonstrated track record of success o Strong academic background o Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with supervising senior personnel, project managers, nationwide client contacts and contractors working in the field. o Be a self-starter o Demonstrated leadership ability o Work in a team environment o Results orientation and focus o Strong project management skills o Strong time management skills -must be able to respond to the need of frequent database customizations and respond to unique client requirements at short notice. o Strong follow through on assignments o Flexibility & adaptability o Strong intuitive abilities o Experience in working with creative resources o Analytical capabilities o Strong negotiation skills o Detail orientation o Strong meeting facilitation skills o Strong consulting skills o Creativity and innovation in previous endeavors o Proficient in: ACES 2000, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Business Objects, Windows NT – 2000 – XP – Vista, Citrix Serves, Pervasive.
