Claims experience is going to put this candidate right to the top.* *Job Description:* Client has a need for a Data Architect to lead and provide technical guidance throughout the data warehouse team in the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of Business Intelligence Center of Excellence. The candidate will work with project managers, business systems analysts, Data Analyst, Data Modelers and technical support staff to help define/document BI reporting requirements, recommend optimal BI infrastructure configuration and design appropriate dimensional and logical database models. The goal of the BI COE is to provide an analytics infrastructure that will sit over several initiatives and tie into the business intelligence platforms that are in place. The right candidate will need to have a high level understanding of the impacts that multiple concurrent projects have on the organizations ability to develop the analytics/business intelligence infrastructure. The candidate should also possess enough technical expertise in business intelligence and data warehousing to assist and guide technical staff on tactical issues. *Additional Job Info: * Top 3 Skills: 1. In-depth knowledge of relationship database concepts and modeling with a focus on logical models. (Dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas, dimension/fact tables, surrogate keys, slowly-changing dimensions, fact-less tables, data source views, etc.) 2.
