and/or upgrades

Manage the development, enhancement and support for various data
warehousing, business intelligence and reporting projects.  Develop and
manage project plans, project estimates, and work assignments.  Ensure that
BI/DW projects are properly documented in terms of scope, functionality,
and risk. Ensure that the work assigned is completed on schedule. Report
project status to management. Assist in data business and analysis using
tools such as SQL, Toad, Cognos, and Business Objects

Job Description:-

·         Successful development, testing, and implementation BI/DW and
Reporting projects

·         Meeting development timelines and delivery dates

·         Managing projects with budget

·         A minimum of 10 years of IT project management experience
including at least 5 years managing data warehousing, ETL, Business
Intelligence and reporting projects.

·         Extensive experience dealing closely with users and management to
define, verify and document requirements.

·         Strong Project Management skills and experience, PMP training and
certification preferred, expert knowledge of Microsoft Project.

·         College degree preferred with Computer Science or related major

·         Some hands on experience with data analysis tools and
technologies such as Oracle, SQL, Cognos, Business Objects, SAS, or Toad.

·         Experience with metadata management tools, data glossary /
dictionary tools, and data profiling tools a plus

·         General understanding of Data Warehousing architecture and
concepts

·         Distributed and mainframe experience preferred

·         Health Insurance industry experience preferred

·         Organized self-starter with the ability to work independently

·         Strong written and oral communication skills

·         Demonstrated ability to achieve results

·         Prior supervisory / staff management experience in an ETL / Data
Warehouse environment
