Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 12 months plus Rate: DOE* Client is seeking a highly-motivated professional with superior business process analytical skills, software application design expertise, and excellent communication skills. This is a great opportunity for a Senior Developer to roll up their sleeves and apply their experience and leadership in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Candidates will be responsible for the technical design, development, unit testing, and support of eCommerece suite of applications and services. This is a highly visible role in which candidates will partner with development team members, project/system managers, business partners, and functional analysts. Candidate will be responsible for mentoring other development team members providing technical guidence and support. This person will also architect end-to-end solutions using multiple technologies and multiple business scenarios. Summary: - Estimate the level of effort related to technical design, coding, and unit testing - Architect scalable n-tier transaction intensive solutions - Provide recommendations to management on products and technical solutions - Translate functional designes into architectural overviews, technical designs, and code - Program supportale, maintainable, and efficient solutions - Develop and execute test plans and test scripts - Analyze, troubleshooot, and diagnose application/system issues - Collaboratively contribute with functional analysts, business partners, bunsiness analysts, PMs, and developers to an overall technical solution - Mentor developers - Independently write code and resolve defects - When required, execute analysts tasks: facilitate the development of business requirements, create functional designes and create prototypes Requiements: - 7yrs of combined development experience with J2EE and eCommerece platforms - 2+ years experience with *ATG* Commerece platform - Advanced experience with J2EE technologies - Experience in high volume, high transactional, and hosted application environment - Experience with Linuz/Unix environments - Experience with SQL, HTML, JavaScript, and XML/SOAP - Experience architecting, designing, and developing high performing retail eCommerece business solutions - Experience with enterprise application integration (EAI) frameworks - Experience with Oracle is a plus Regards, Sanjay Kumar COMNet Group Inc.
