*Job Title: Websphere Admin Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 12 months plus * *Client Requirement: At least 10 years of Experience in the IT industry* *Required Skills: ** Automation of Healthchecks - Review current alerts, scripts and categorize them based on priority to ensure manageability and also 24x7 uptime for all services * Wily Monitoring Enhancements - Upgrade to v9.0 and implement new features * Wily EM migration to enterprise EMS * Implement monitoring for backend single server validation in all VIP configurations * Maintain documentation of all vendors and incoming/outgoing connectivity (VPNs,NATs,etc) * MUST have a MINIMUM of 2 years experience with Middleware instrumentation, Infrastructure monitoring and alarming using CA Wily Introscope and custom scripting. * This position requires a Bachelor's degree or Masters* Preferred in Computer Science/Information Systems and at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area * Solid knowledge of CA Wily monitoring and reporting. Familiar with Introscope's major components - agents, EnterpriseManager, SmartStor, WebView and Workstation. * Solid knowledge of IBM *Websphere* / MQ clustering and administration. * Experience with administering, configuring IBM DataPower, *WebSphere* Extreme Scale (WXS) is a plus. * Solid interpersonal / communication skills and leadership abilities regularly lead other team members in project activities. Work closely with analysts, developers, quality assurance, and production support team members to align projects and orchestrate resolutions on open issues/defects. * Good knowledge of project management skills and concepts * Desired Skills: * * Experience with administering, configuring IBM DataPower, *WebSphere* Extreme Scale (WXS) is preferred. * Experience in auditing network security compliance, PCI compliance is preferred. * Experience in Wireless/Telecom industry, especially in the area of Mobile Media / Application stores a big plus. * Experience in J2EE application development, operations/support is a plus. * Experience in Unix System Administration, UNIX shell Scripting and DB mgmt is a plus. * Experience in supporting multiple QA and Dev environments is a plus. * Experience with writing technical specifications, documenting application flows and architecture is a plus. * Prefer *Websphere* Administration certification Regards, Sanjay Kumar COMNet Group Inc.
