*Job Title: AS/400 RPG DEVELOPER Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 12 months plus Rate: DOE* Responsibilities: * Developing and writing computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information. * Developing, creating, and modifying general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. * Assisting software developers by analyzing user needs and designing software solutions. * Analyzing user needs and develop software solutions. * Designing software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. * Analyzing and designing databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. * Supervising computer programmers. * Researching, designing, developing, and testing operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for various industries including healthcare and communications * Setting operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements. * Designing embedded systems software. * Applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
