We are looking for senior Informatica/OBIEE Consultant with DAC for our
client (2 positons) in NH for a 1-2 year long term project. Rate should be
competitive. The consultant should be a leader, having great communication
and presentation skills.
The specific responsibilities will include:
• Interpret and translate business specifications into
technical specifications
• Develop low to medium complexity applications and systems
using OBIEE, OBIA, Informatica, DAC, Teradata and Oracle EBS Applications.
• Test and debug application programs
• Make technical recommendations on designs and technical
improvements
• Create and/or update user and system documentation
• Provide work leadership to other members on staff
• Provide report distribution setup, recipient setup of report
distribution, on-line viewing privileges, indexing rules for report files,
archive retention lengths and migration of archives from direct storage to
magnetic tape and/or other devices.
Experience:
7-8 years of Experience in IT with Expertise in Data modeling
for Data Warehouse/Data Mart development, Data Analysis for Online
Transaction Processing (OLTP) and Data Warehousing (OLAP)/Business
Intelligence (BI) applications.§
OBIEE Metadata development including Administration (Projects,
MUDE, Migration, deployment, applying patches, maintenance)§
Expert level understanding of relational database concepts,
dimensional database concepts, hierarchies, star and snowflake schemas.§
Responsible for the deployment and maintenance of the Physical
Layer, Business Model and Presentation layers in OBIEE repository.§
Install and configure OBIEE environments across multiple
environments.§
Experience on OBIEE security setup and OBIEE admin tool, data
modeling, creation and configuration of metadata objects.§
Experience on web catalog objects, design, development and
tuning of dashboards and reports§
BI Apps Experience with configuring / customizing analytics
for Oracle EBS.§
Experience in BI Analytics/Applications such as financial
analytics, HR analytics, Supply Chain and Order Management etc.§
Involvement in conversion projects from Legacy System§
(Micro strategy, Lawson, Access, Mainframe, MDM, Teradata to OBIEE).
Supporting other reporting tools like Mobius, Crystal, Apex,
In-house SLR.§
Strong background in data warehouse, data management and data
analytics.§
Experience in extracting, transforming and loading (ETL) data
from Oracle database tables and other sources using Informatica.§
Experience with Oracle and SQL server databases.§
Experience in Teradata database tool.§
Experience in prototyping and designing front end dashboard
and reports.§
Experience in SQL/PLSQL§ & Performance Tuning
Experience working directly with end user in defining solution§

Databases: Oracle 11i, DB2, MS-SQL Server, Teradata and Sybase
ERP : Oracle Applications
OS: UNIX, Windows, AIX
Languages: SQL, PL/SQL, JAVA, HTML, XML, SQL Scripts
Web/App Servers: Apache, Web logic, IBM web sphere, IBM MQ series
Other Tools: Clear Case, Clear Quest, HPQC, Mercury Test Director,
TOAD, SQL Plus, PVCS Version, CVS IBM Rational, etc.
