*CONTRACT: 3-6 MONTHS* *START DATE: AS SOON AS POSSIBLE* *LOCATION: LEXINGTON, MA. * As a Principal UI Developer, you will choose, leverage latest web front-end technologies like HTML5\CSS3 and modern JavaScript frameworks to build a next generation solution. You will collaborate with architects, product managers and engineers to brainstorm and tackle problems, but also be able to work independently to investigate, code, debug, and solve issues. You will mentor engineers in best development practices and play key role in building world-class team. This is a great opportunity to build next generation user experience from the scratch and lay the foundation for a number of upcoming solutions. *Responsibilities:* Drive consistent end-end user experience of a solution by collaborating with product management and engineering teams Mentor other engineers Drive common UI infrastructure which can be leveraged across projects Design and implement user interface components with right consideration for usability, security, performance and customizability *Qualifications:* BS/MS in Computer Science or related discipline At least 10 years of relevant industry work experience Passion for designing and engineering great user interfaces Solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in UI design, web based UI technologies Expert level experience writing simple, elegant, cross-browser HTML, CSS2/CSS3 and JavaScript with an attention to detail, scalability and performance Extensive understanding of usability concepts JavaScript mastery including knowledge of jQuery, AJAX, AngularJS Experience with large systems UI design and development Experience MVC frameworks like Struts or Spring MVC Experience with CSS3 and HTML5 Experience with JSON, RESTful APIs over HTTP Experience in Java programming Experience in a fast paced, distributed and agile development environment Experience with Google Closure Tools, Google Web Toolkit and Ext JS is a plus Experience with Java Server Faces is a plus Familiarity with OSGi is a plus **SKILLS Frameworks Backbone/Angular/Jquery Require/Underscore Cordova/Phone Gap/Ionic Bootstrap/CSS Grid Frameworks Yii, CodeIgniter, Symphony, Zend WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento **PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES/TECHNOLOGIES Software Architecture Design/ Reverse Engineering/Design Patterns SaaS/REST/ Research & Development Technical Documentation/Architecture Reports/Proposals JavaScript/Ajax PHP/Web Services SQL Regards Ram [email protected] -- -- Introduce business in 3800 cities.
