Our Client, Located In Wilmington, MA, Is Looking To Hire A Mid To Senior Level Project Manager To Join Their Newly Formed Project Management Office. You Will Be Responsible For The End To End Planning, Development And Implementation Of Medium To Large-Sized, Moderate To Highly Complex IT Projects. This Role Will Also Provide Support The PMO Implementation By Contributing To Best Practices Implementation And Supporting Portfolio Reporting And Tools Implementation. Technical Projects Will Vary From Mobile Apps Development To ERP Implementation To Infrastructure. In This Position, You Will: Partner With Stakeholders To Define Project Scope, Goals, Deliverables And Timelines. Lead The Development Of Business Cases, Project Proposals And RFPs. Work With IT Resource Managers, Functional Managers And Consultants To Secure Needed Resources And Resolve Resource Conflicts. Identify And Proactively Manage Changes In Scope, Budget And Schedule To Ensure That The Business Value Of The Project Is Still Achieved. Escalate Issues And Risks And Proactively Takes Ownership For Resolution. Track Milestones And Deliverables And Provide Regular Status Reporting To All Levels Of Stakeholders (Executives, IT Management And Project Team Members). Coach And Mentor Junior PMO And Project Team Staff. May Also Act As An Advisor For Projects Not Directly Managed By The PMO, Providing Phase Gate Reviews Or Project Health Checks. The Right Candidate For This Position Will Have: A Minimum 5 Years Of Experience Directly Managing Medium To Large Complexity Projects Using Formal Project Management Methodology (PMBOK, SCRUM, Prince2, Etc). Proven Success Managing Projects In A Matrix Environment Where Influence Without Direct Authority Is Required. Focus On Delivering Results That Achieve Business Outcomes And Lasting Relationships, Not Just Following A Project Process. Direct Experience Managing Projects With A Blend Of In House And External Resources (Vendors And Contractors). Hands On Experience Facilitating Both Agile (SCRUM) And Traditional Waterfall Projects. Knowledge Of What Methodology Is Best For Each Type Of Project And Working With Blended Approaches. Experience Implementing And Using PPM Tools For Resource Management And Portfolio Reporting. Energetic, Self-Confident And Persuasive With All Levels Of Audiences. 4 Year Bachelor’s Degree Required. Experience Working In A PMO Or As A PM On A Large Program.
