*Location:* NYC, NY Duration: Long Term *Job Details:-* The candidate must have prior experience with racking and installation of physical servers in an enterprise Data Center environment. Working knowledge on loading both Microsoft Windows 2008/2012 and Redhat Linux operating system onto servers and configure proper software drivers for all server components. This full time position will also be working with a team of 5 system engineers and will be reporting to our senior manager of Wintel Server group. *UNIX, LINUX and WINDOWS* *Responsibilities include: * · Physical server installation, both HP and Oracle, in an Enterprise Data Center environment, including standalone 2U and 4U and blade servers. · Loading both Linux and Windows operating systems and configure software drivers on the servers. · Utilize system monitoring tools to monitor and troubleshoot server issues. · Server management including IP address assignment, SAN connectivity and patching. · Basic management of the SCA Active Directory 2008 environment including users and computers. · Plus Writing UNIX Shell or PowerShell scripts to management and automate server processes. · Work with Desktop Support team to create workstation and laptop images based on SCA specification using Symantec Ghost.
