Project Manager for its IT PMO as follows Business Analyst/Project Manager
– Information Technology Project Management Office (PMO) The Information
Technology Division of the NYC School Construction Authority is in the
process of upgrading the PMO.  The Ideal candidate will fulfill a dual role
as project Manager/business analyst. The candidate will have superior
skills in Business Analysis and Project Management (Waterfall methodology).



Project Management Responsibilities: We require the resource to produce and
collaborate on the following Project Management deliverables: This includes
(but is not limited to):

•     Management of the project WBS (for all phases of project life cycle;
end to end)

•     Track Team deliverables, keep a high standard of quality while
keeping to project schedule

•     Provide team with direction, resolve issues, and mitigate risks

•     Responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying application
requirements, assessing gaps, roles and data.

•     Work with project team and ensure compliance with PMO Methodology,
processes, policies, standards, best practices.

•     Project communications including status, risks, issues, escalation,
etc.

•     Enter project status in PPM, MS Project server

•     Manage Change Requests and new development requests

•     Overall project coordination including management of resources and
tasks

•     Assist team as needed in completing project tasks and provide
direction

•     Work with the project sponsor to effectively manage project scope

•     Review team deliverables/ project documentation



Deliverables

•     Creation and management of the project WBS (and related documentation
as needed)

•     Creation of project Charter and scope statement

•     Weekly Status reports

•     Risk Management plan

•     Risk and Issues log

•     Communication Plan/ Issue escalation procedures

•     Work with business/users to define and analyze project
scope/requirements

•     Document User Guide/ Administration Documents

•     Create all other project documentation per the PMO methodology



For Project Management

•     At least 8 years’ experience project managing large projects
(end-to-end)

•     Expert Knowledge of PMLC and SDLC

•     MS project 2013

•     PMP certification a must

•     Strong communication, presentation, articulation skills

•     Detail oriented, team player, soft skills, can follow process by the
book
