Position Senior Quality Assurance Analyst Duration: 6-12 months Location: Bloomington, MN This is a replacement position - current person is leaving the team after 2+ years Looking for a *Senior QA with strong technology skills* Web Applications Looking for someone with strong *Data Analysis skills and Excel Macros* *Strong SQL and other database skills* – both relational and non-rational experience *Local candidates given 1st consideration* This position will manage and coordinate testing activities for medium to large projects and ensures and maintains the stability of the testing environment to ensure testing activities are successfully completed. This position will also resolve and coordinate testing issues with IT development teams, vendors, and business users and will create documentation and reports for test results and defect trends and analyze data in order to make recommendations to management. In addition, this role will participate in projects, ensuring the coordination of quality assurance activities in alignment with the project plan and will work with customers and business partners to develop test strategies and negotiate approvals. This position requires a bachelor degree along with at least 8 years of experience in testing and developing test scripts and scenarios and 5 years of experience with in depth knowledge of quality assurance procedures. In addition, 5 years of experience within a technical environment and experience designing and implementing quality assurance standards and processes. Excellent oral and written communications skills are a must. Additional qualifications include: Various testing methodology experience ((i.e. waterfall, agile) Good technical skills.
