We have the following opening with our *direct customer* and is *Permanent Position.* Work Location : NYC (*Medical Center )* Job Title: Manager - SAP Supply Chain Applications ROLE AND JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES RELATED TO: STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP Supports long - term system and solution planning process in alignment with the corporate strategy Planning activities include, but are not limited to, business case development, implementation prioritization, development of high level implementation plans, etc. TACTICAL LEADERSHIP Manages small to medium-size systems/solution implementation and improvement initiatives, focusing on the following activities: o Initiative specific task and resource management (internal and external) o Consistent application of initiative methodology, standards, tools, policies, etc. o Initiative scope and issues management o Initiative related communication and change management tasks o Initiative related knowledge management Supports the development and continuous improvement of an effective improvement and implementation methodology, including tools, templates, standards, policies and procedures In respective area of expertise, works with process champions to help with the introduction, institutionalization and re-enforcement of BIS policies, procedure and accountability for measurable outcome Supports the establishment of standards and embodies new approaches for effective business management, superior quality and service levels and fiscal responsibility CONSULTATION AND ADVISORY ROLES As needed, provides expert level knowledge for the resolution of end - and service - user support requests In respective area of expertise, supports scheduled and ad-hoc solution education and training efforts Provides process/functional advice as to the lean and effective integration of business management systems to other in-house and external systems and solutions Provides input for the introduction, selection, and application of best business practices, new system and technology trends and necessary changes to policies and procedures, to all levels ofmanagement OPERATIONS Supports the adjustment, improvement, and enrichment to the solution management methodology and the ongoing documentation and standardization effort In area of expertise, mentors associates from other departments in the best use of existing solutions and systems Provides second level support and expertise for implemented SAP Supply Chain applications Overseas and actively supports administrative task for the SAP centric Supply Chain Solution, owned and operated by the BIS-Solutions Department EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/REQUIRED SKILLS Project management experience/education (PMI or at least CAPM certification preferred) At least five years experience with the design, implementation, improvement and management of Supply Chain Management and Logistic Solutions, enabled by SAP’s portfolio of Materials Management and Logistics Execution applications Deep Knowledge of SAP MM/PP modules Hands-on experience with SAP release ECC6.0 required Experience in managing small- to medium-size systems and solution initiatives Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience with process implementation or improvement methodologies, e.g. Value SAP, Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC, DFSS), SDLC, etc. Formal Lean and/or Six Sigma education, SSGB certification or higher preferred Business background/education in respective functional/process area Solid cross-functional and integration knowledge to other process/functional areas Experienced with the management of initiative related internal and external resources BS in related field required, advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred *If you find it interesting : please submit the following details along with your updated resume to discuss further.* · Current Location : · Preferred Location: · Total Experience : · Relevant Experience: · No.of # implementations done (in all): · Current Salary : · Expected Salary : · Availability: · Willingness to relocate to NYC : · VISA Status : · Any concerns : SPlease reply to [email protected], to review and discuss further.
