“I’m looking for a strong, BA that can work independently with the ServiceNow Technical Consultant and Business Process Consultant and me, to elicit and document the requirements for the ServiceNow Ideation and Demand Management modules. Experience with request intake and demand management processes for non-incident requests is a definite plus. This person will be also facilitating meetings involving the IT service managers to develop their operational processes for their areas of responsibility and tasks in the intake workflow. This includes tool creation (checklists, documentation of outputs such as estimates, risks, impacts, etc.) and creation of the associated training support materials for that as well as the higher level processes. ServiceNow experience (Ideation and Demand Management Modules especially) is preferred but I’d rather they be good at working with the stakeholders to deliver the above. In addition, I’d like someone that can do reporting and data gap analysis (our current data extracts and reports vs. ServiceNow); process to software (ServiceNow) gap analysis and help work through solutions with me and the vendor. I want someone with a calm competence backed up with solid experience and skills so they can run the facilitation meetings well. We are trying to create standardized processes across what used to be a very siloed IT and it is important that this person can help keep the focus on the deliverables. “ -- if they have experience with third party software business analysis rather than software development.
