*Title: SharePoint Solution Consultant * *Location: San Rafael, CA (Need only Locals)* *Duration: 6+ months* *Rate: Open* Duties The Solutions Architect SharePoint Specialist will have broad responsibility for client's Enterprise SharePoint platforms. This position is best suited for the person who thrives on new challenges and has the proven ability to make technology solutions work for the business challenges presented to IT by its clients. Provide day-to-day business support and technical administration of client's Microsoft SharePoint platforms (SharePoint Online and legacy on premise SharePoint Server 2010). Manage overall SharePoint Online tenant site collection structure and build site collections for various business use cases. Implement web parts, pages and site features, configure security policies, user accounts and content and records management functionality. Champion content management capabilities and features across various business teams and identify potential opportunities to help make business partners more efficient through their use. Deliver business solutions for content management needs including leading the analysis of business requirements, identifying potential alternatives and implementing the final solution. Provide ongoing systems support and enhancements once solutions are built and deployed. Research emerging technologies and maintain acute awareness of current platform roadmaps to assist with developing strategic plans. Deliver product, technology and solution presentations engaging technical and business decision makers in setting strategic direction. Develop, implement, and maintain documentation and runbooks for maintaining a highly scalable site collection structure, including leveraging external partners for support and maintenance activities Work as needed with external partners to scope and implement projects. Supervise external partner resources as staff augmentation for operational issues, maintenance and ad-hoc activities. Lead and participate in project teams comprised of customers, partners and peers from project inception through the hand-off to Operations as a technical subject matter expert. • Understand business challenges and opportunities and drive new and innovative approaches to resolving them. Bridge the gap between business and technology to develop the right solutions for our internal customers. Practice disciplined execution focused on formulating solid vision, strategy, goals, and requirements collaboratively with customers and partners to ensure a well-defined opportunity with the right approach to executing on it Skills *3+ years related experience in designing, building and supporting advanced technical solutions based on SharePoint platforms, especially SharePoint Online. Experience with SharePoint Designer and 3rd party workflow tools such as Nintex Workflow Experience with development technologies such as .NET, C#, Visual Studio, AJAX, and Web Services Understanding of Microsoft SQL, Active Directory and permission models in support of SharePoint. * *• Hands-on experience with designing and executing technical solutions to enterprise business units from requirements analysis to design and development to testing and implementation.* • Experience implementing and supporting Microsoft SharePoint Server and SharePoint Online, Project Server, web apps. • Proven ability to think and deliver strategically while remaining proficient and engaged tactically with solutions. • Exposure to FDA or other regulated environments and ability to comply with such regulatory agency requirements preferred. Technical writing and strong verbal skills are required. • Strong desire to grow within the role and develop as an employee through open and constructive feedback.
