I'm running into the eternal redirect problem in single network mode,

Hrm, a little weird. In the single network case, the httpd conf (the
only location of the eternal redirect previously correct?) simply
contains two virtual hosts, one for unsecured http access, which merely
redirects to the other, using ssl. Thus all requests both guest and node
go through ssl, thing is none of the node request targets currently
require auth or a cert so communication proceeds as normal and
everything should work.
What does your httpd config look like? Where are you seeing the redirects?

Here's the ovirt-server.conf. Nothing looks abnormal that I can see so
far, maybe it's just caching somewhere?
