GENERAL
Patchwork
- Quite a few patches built up related to DPDK datapath in patchwork.
- Request for more participation in reviews.

Testing
- As discussed previously, sharing test cases can help identify any
testing gaps.
- Christian (Red Hat) shared a high level list of tests
-
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/18wp5S3N_sYuQb0nxTtfo5MIjRjYwBt8N61Y48tALPQ4/edit?usp=sharing
- Request for others to do likewise.

DPDK 17.05
- Previously discussed moving from DPDK LTS to a newer release.
- Trade-off between having LTS support and adding new features.
- Ian shared a list of features that would be available if using newer
DPDK. I think he mentioned sending an RFC to the mailing list.

Bug tracker
- After upstream discussion, Ian proposed trialing the github bug
tracker for OVS DPDK datapath related bugs up until OVS 2.8.
- No objections.

HWOL
- Simon gave summary of hardware offload for the kernel datapath.
- Michael discussed that using DPDK rte_flow api for enabling hardware
offload in DPDK datapath was of interest.
- Suggestion is that using as much common code as possible will be best
for upstream.

them.
