We setup an OpenStack environment with OVN-Controller and OVN-Controller-Vtep. The packets from host under OVN-Controller-Vtep switch will be dropped by compute node. The host under switch can ping the VM successfully. But the VM can’t ping the host. We trace the traffic and found the compute node drop the ICMP reply packets. We thing the root cause may be about the connection track. If we manually delete all security rules, the problem is resolved. Where may be the root cause?
