If the provider implements this callback and returns true, the returned

I just realized that if we flip the hw-offload while traffic is running
we'd potentially have different hashes. I'm trying to decide if we
should document it. Previously, flipping HWOL shouldn't really cause
major issues, but I think this affects when OVN pipeline implements some
select group logic (or maybe I misunderstand the flows).
There is currently no hw-offload support for dp-hash in any provider.
There was such an attempt to do so for the kernel in 2020, but it was
abandoned because of this issue.
So, DOCA will be the first to do so, and there we will implement this
callback to make sure SW/HW are aligned.
BTW, there is a similar issue with UDP based tunnels. The UDP source
port is used as entropy and calculated differently using SW/HW.
For that issue there is [1]. DOCA will implement this too. Currently
there are also no implementations for it.
