    When a patch is applied to a repo, for submission, the person who
    applies it needs to add a Signed-off-by.  May I assume that you intended
    to sign off each of these patches?  If so, then I can add that as part
    of applying them to the repo.

I debated this question myself in this particular context; now it is clear –

    (At the same time, when you sign off on a patch, you should remove any
    Acked-by for the patch, since the ack is implied.)
