Thanks.  I pushed this to master and branch-2.8.

There are patches posted to this list (by me) that will update
Linux kernel support to 4.13 for the master branch.
Great.  As you increase the supported version, can you update the FAQ and NEWS? 
 That's the easiest way for us to know what version supports which kernels.

They're not yet applied.  I can do so once they're applied.
Yes, I understand.  It's just nice to update those docs in the same patch 
that's adding support.

Ha! Ran into a problem while compiling against 4.13.  We need some compat 
fixes.  I'll add them to
the patch series as well.
