I see that Dave Miller has committed your patch fix and queued it up for stable.  Are you familiar with
the format for posting upstream Linux commits to this list?

Commit bc92e8a4788f63e4728d32f2d5baba080ede4004 ("erspan: set erspan_ver to 1 ...") is a good
example of how it is done.

Since this is a kernel datapath patch, maybe we shall first upstream
it to net-next or in this case net (since it is a bug fix), then we
backport it back to ovs.
