Hi, Simon. This patch set was discussed and mostly ready before the soft freeze begun, so it should be good to go now in current release. Assuming Eelco finished with his review. Soft freeze exists for finalizing and accepting new features. But, yes, we should not merge things that wasn't discussed before it starts. And only bug fixes after branching (this Friday), of course.
