Hi,

We are seeing an issue of loss of connectivity to a VM on XenServer running
OVS-2.1.3. Enabling debug messages I see that the MAC (fe:d7:77:81:02:7c)
bounces between the VM’s vif (vif9.0) and the physical NIC (eth1). I seem to
notice loss of connectivity at times when it is learned from eth1 instead of
from vif9.0.

I am trying to understand when this message is displayed. We checked out
network, and cant find any possibility for any packet flow with that MAC from
eth1. So I am at loss as to how OVS is reporting to have learnt that MAC from
eth1 for a VM.

In one scenario, we traced GARP packets being sent by the VM on vif9.0, xenbr1,
and eth1. Is it possible that GARP packet is incorrectly interpreted as having
originated in eth1 instead of vif9.0?

Thanks,
Ravi.
