Has anyone experimented with the netronome NICs that can do ovs data path offloading? (reference https://www.netronome.com/media/redactor_files/WP_OVS_Benchmarking.pdf) Wondering if anyone has some real world experience with them. Also is there any other vendor doing similar things? Looks like mellanox have something similar but I can't tell if their stuff is just vxlan offloading capable or if it can do the whole OVS datapath offload. thanks
Hi Luca, The current implementation support action of forward, drop, vxlan encap/decap, vlan push/pop. protocols supported currently are tcp, udp, arp. another limitation currently is support for a single forward action only. Thanks, Roi
