If interface counters addresses your use case then you are right, you probably don’t need to extra complexity of flow analysis. Flow analytics are useful if you want to compute more granular quotas (distinguishing traffic by destination, protocol, etc) or if you want to calculate cluster wide quotas.
What time period are you looking at for the quota control?
