Hi All, I am trying to spawn VMs using ocata devstack with ovs 2.8 version. wanted to check few specific ( mpls o gre) patches that are only available in ovs 2.8 .
ocata inherently using 2.6 version , which i stopped manaully and ovs version upgraded to ovs 2.8 . i am facing few problems 1. if i install ovs 2.8 as root , when i run stack.sh as stack user ( stack user has given sudo permissions rights ) , the bridges it try to access ( br-int , br -ex ) are not accessible ( though br-int , br-ex exists ) and devstack getting timed at waiting for br-int to be available. 2. if i install ovs 2.8 as stack user, ovs not able to launch ovsdb and ocata natively try to access ovs 2.6.1 version . would appreciate any help on this ? or any correct procedure to upgrade ovs 2.8 from ovs 2.6 . i am following the procedure mentioned below link : http://docs.openvswitch.org/en/latest/intro/install/general/#starting Thanks, Sailas
