Hi, We use linux containers in OVN that are configured with the reduced (from 1500) mtu 1442 to allow for geneve headers. Recently, I noticed some kernel logs such as:
dropped over-mtu packet: 2832 > 1442 The first number varies and is always higher than 1500. I noticed that genev_sys_6081 interface has mtu set to 65000! Even if I reduce it back to 1500, the errors in the kernel logs stay. And if I restart ovs, it resets genev_sys_6081 mtu back to 65000. Any explanation of the above?
