Hello everyone, Hopefully this will come as good news to you all. We are in the process of migrating the ModSecurity documentation from our static website out to a Wiki hosted by SourceForge - https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/mod-security/
We have initially migrated over the Reference Manual, FAQ and Roadmap data. The data on the Wiki will always be the most update-to-date. As a matter of fact, the new Reference Manual data on the wiki lists some of the new features that have just been added into the 2.6.0 SVN trunk version. Of particular note is a new feature called SecRuleUpdateTargetById (along with the ctl:ruleUpdateTargetById action) - https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/mod-security/index.php?title=Reference_Manual#SecRuleUpdateTargetById This new feature will really help with handling exceptions as you can now dynamically update the variable target lists! This means that you can easily specify ARGS that you want to exclude from inspection for certain ruleIDs. Anyways, we are hoping that this new Wiki-based documentation site will be helpful to you all. Not just for providing the most current information but also for allow the community more access to helping with documentation. So if you find any issues with the documentation or would like to improve it, then just create a free SourceForge account and you edit it yourself. :) Cheers, Ryan _______________________________________________ Owasp-modsecurity-core-rule-set mailing list [email protected] https://lists.owasp.org/mailman/listinfo/owasp-modsecurity-core-rule-set
