Hello again,
Some problems have occured:
1. Devices only work in parasite power mode, as soon as I connect +5V or Gnd from the power supply to the circuit the 1-wire components directory disappears but the bus is still visible.
If you use the passive DS9097, it won't ever work (see previous post + app notes from Dallas).
I use "The Link", a microcontroler-based 1-wire bus master (search Google) with great satisfaction. It drives a half-dozen temperature sensors, 8 relays (4 x DS2406) and a counter (DS2423).
The Power Supply is working (Old Arcade Power Supply)
2. Only 1 Component can be connected to the circuit. If I connect one DS18B20 and one DS2408 (both parasite power mode since +5v doesnt work) only one of 1-wire devices is visible (DS1820 or DS2408)
Don't know for this one.
3. I try to control a relais with the DS2408 (shematics are attached) so I connected, 1-wire IO and 1-Wire GND from the DS9097 (simple 9-Pin version) to the DS2408 and P1 from the DS2408 to A+ Input of the relais but no matter how I set P1 I only hear a humming noise from the relais, it doesnt switch :(
The 2408 can't directly drive a relay. You must use a transistor in between the 2408 and the relay.
I used all-mounted PCB from Sytse Kuijk <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. I don't know if he still does that kind of things (it was in 2003)
I privately forward you a post from him describing his products.
