Hi,
Setting up owfs under gentoo took ten minutes or so, i followed the advices in the faq and it worked flawless right away.
I have tested the relais setup (thanks for the explanation now I know hoe conductive pins work) and it works perfect :) 1-wire GND and Power supply GND are connected together, nothing exploded...
Tomorrow I will get more Optokopplers and begin with the stepper control tests (when I have the time got a lot of work to do at the moment)
I will also order parts to build a humidity sensor and a light sensor, both DS2438 based, unfortunately the HIH3605 is not avaible anymore, I will have to go with the HIH3610. Does anyone know if these two can be exchanged withou problems?
The diode for the lght sensor is not chosen yet.
So far so good, I will inform you if any problem occur but for now I am very happy with my 1-wire bus.
