Thanks very much for the wiki info, I'll examine it in more detail, from
the source code and tracing packets. Initially it looks like an
excellent point to make a java interface (possibly both ways), Quite
direct and simple.

It might be a while before I get anything functional.

BTW Simultaneous works really well, It has to be the whole bus, but I
can't really say that I need to do it to individual devices.
(I'll have to look and see how that is sent via the Network Protocol.)

Paul, (it sounds like we're talking to ourselves)

Java is inherently multithreaded I thought. Why not do the conversion in one
thread, while doing other work in another thread. If the bus is powered, OWFS
will respond to the other thread and allow bus traffic until the temperature is
ready.
