I guess you should use the 2.2p3 version instead of my older tar-file at home. Download.http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/owfs/owfs-2.2p3.tar.gz
Note that you had a version-mismatch in your first package-list (fuse-module 2.3.0 and libfuse 2.4.1). That could probably make it unstable. I have never managed to get fuse-2.5.2 to work for my embedded systems. The latest working version is 2.4.2 as far as I know. I haven't been able to try the latest owfs-cvs version and verify Paul's latest optimization of all fuse-calls. Try to avoid that latest version. Recompile everything with fuse-2.4.1 or 2.4.2 and owfs-2.2p3. Try owhttpd to make sure it works without any fuse-dependencies. Then try owfs which should work if you are lucky.... :) /Christian > -----Ursprungligt meddelande----- > Från: rth [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Skickat: den 9 april 2006 16:22 > Till: [email protected] > Kopia: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Ämne: openwrt (kamikaze version 3695, Linux OpenWrt 2.6.16.1) owfs problem > - " Transport endpoint is not connected" > > I have the owfs running (thanks Christian Magnusson ) under an older > openwrt Linux OpenWrt 2.6.12.5 on a Netgear wgt634u using the following > versions: > > ipkg list_installed: > > fuse-utils - 2.4.1-1 - Filesystem in Userspace (utilities) > kmod-fuse - 2.6.12.5brcm+2.3.0-1 - > libfuse - 2.4.1-1 - Filesystem in Userspace (library) > owfs - 2.2p0RC-5 - 1-Wire file system > > However, I am trying to get the system going under a newer version of > the OpenWrt, version 3695, Linux OpenWrt 2.6.16.1 and get the following > error when executing the owfs binary (as part of the run-owfs startup): > > [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/bin# ./owfs --error_level 3 --foreground -s > 3002 /tmp/1wire > > fusermount: failed to access mountpoint /tmp/1wire: Transport endpoint > is not connected > > Here are the software packages I am currently using - ipkg > list_installed: > > fuse-utils - 2.5.2-1 - Filesystem in Userspace (utilities) > kmod-fuse - 2.6.16.1+2.5.2-brcm-1 - Filesystem in Userspace (kernel > module) > libfuse - 2.5.2-1 - Filesystem in Userspace (library) > > owfs - 2.2p0RC-13 - > owlib - 2.2p0RC-10 - > > I have downloaded the owfs source > > http://home.mag.cx/openwrt/source/owfs/owfs-2.2p1cvs.tar.gz > > and recompiled to use current fuse includes and libraries used by the > openwrt distribution, but get same error. > > Anyone had this error before or have any hints to what the problem might > be? > > Thanks, > > Bob Harris ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by xPML, a groundbreaking scripting language that extends applications into web and mobile media.
