Dear all,

I'm planning to attach several onewire keylocks to the network of the machine
I'm developing. My idea was to attach each lock to the main output of a
DS2409 to identify the individual lock and to shorten the search algorithm to
the main/ subpath of the network. This seems to work if the "Smart-On"
command of the DS2409 is used.

My questions are now:

* Does owfs use this command, or, in contrary, the "Direct-On" command?
* Which other precautions do I have to take to trigger the search sequence
just for the main/ subpath of a DS2409, not for the entire network?

Kind regards
