The LCD Driver has solder pads for 3 switch inputs so it should work,
but I have not had any reports of people using it that way. You would
just need to make sure that what you are going to sense is in the range
of 0-5v DC.

Hobby-boards puts a DS2408 on their LCD driver board.
I might be able to use that.  Has anyone attempted to adapt this board
for use in a door bell sensor?
