You could log in via ethernet, I suppose.
I think the tty is set up in /etc/inittab
OWFS doesn't care what prior use the serial port was used, so if you can drop the terminal conection, it will be happy.

I would like to know if I need to disable the console on tts/0.
And if the answer is yes, I would appreciate if you could tell me how to do that (in openWRT). (being a newby also on that part, never had to do it before on linux/unix boxes)
