Fedor, Christian Magnusson is the wizard who got
the NSLU2 to work and created those packages. I’d suggest looking at his start-up
scripts, which shuld be “run-owfs” and in /etc/init.d The fuse startup can be the trickier part.
Can I suggest testing owhttpd for testing. It reduces the number of components
and thus the debugging complexity. Paul Alfille From:

Hello Paul! Thanks for your fast reply! And - Yes I followed the instructions on
your page! And I think it is quite clear what to do. Only
thing, I did not "run-owfs" with the adaptor in the slug's usb
port. Just ran the command, checked if the process was started and
then rebooted... You can post my note, no problem! I would
be glad if someone could show me my error! I have: 1. Bought the slug :) 2. DE-UNDERCLOCKED it! - but this should
not be a problem?! 3. Installed Unslung 6.8 via the
Webinterface 4. Unslung it 5. Installed SSHD / OPENVPN / BASH and
some other tools 6. Installed OWFS via your package - I
have found it on the website just this day! 7. Got disappointed again... 8. Installed ftdilib because I remembered
about a HOWTO about this being a workaround 9. Sent my request to you Fedor Von:
