I've just about finished this. I have a general question about ownet. The python client creates a new TCP connection for each command that it sends to owserver. This seems wasteful. I tried sending two commands in the same session and got a connection reset by owserver. Is this how it's supposed to work? Why? No one has answered these emails. Is ownet unsupported? I'd be happy to submit my code for inclusion. I'm also willing to refactor the Python code to fix the stuff I found if anyone is interested.
