LINK-HUB-E had p[roblems.
Now fixed in CVS thanks to Jon's help.
Internally I've separated the LINK and LINK-E code since the remote
serial-over-tcp added characters and changed the handling of line-feeds. In
the end, Jon let me use his hub remotely and I was able to test and tune
extensively.
There are some unclear aspects: I don't know size of the buffer for
characters over the network (sending a single char per tcp packet would
certainly be painful). Also it's not clear how well delays for temperature
conversion function over the network -- I hope network latency is relatively
constant.

Greetings -
I have been looking at your OneWireFileSystem for some time, and it
looks to be *very* promising. I have been using the iButtonLink for some
time (via digitemp libraries), and now am looking to use owfs for a more
general solution.
It seems you have recently added support for the LinkHub-E ethernet
device from iButtonLink. I have been trying to get this working today
via the following commands (owfs v2.6p1):
./owhttpd -p 3001 -F -d -s 1.2.3.4:10001 --error_level=7
I can see the owhttpd process "connect" to the LinkHub-E, but cannot
"see" any 1wire devices connected to the LinkHub-E. Here is a syslog
snippet:

(I changed the TIMEOUT to 10 seconds)
Any thoughts/suggestions? Thank you for your assistance, and a great
program!
