yes, it is at 3.3V. Anyway, I could start experimenting with
OWFS by connecting the DS2480B to the serial port and using
a more traditional approach. As I understand from the
datasheet the DS2480B runs at 5V but it can understand 3.3V
"TTL" serial ports.

So the question is: is there an OWFS package or Makefile for
Openwrt Kamikaze?
