I just put owfs and temploggerd on an nslu2, and I am having trouble configuring temploggerd to get the humidity from a combined temperature/humidity sensor. This particular sensor uses a DS2438 for temperature and humidity. I can see reasonable values in the file system for the device, but I'm not sure how to tell temploggerd to use a particular field for humidity. The device id is 26.C34581000000 and I should be using the " "HIH4000/humidity" field as the humidity.
If I put the line sensor 26.C34581000000 "Other sensor" HIH4000/humidity humidity.rrd in the temploggerd config file, it silently quits immediately after starting. I've tried other variations like "HIH4000.humidity", but those always bring an error message. Can anyone provide help? It would be very nice if an explanation of the temploggerd configuration parameters were on the owfs site somewhere.
