Was recently looking at the small Atom based netbooks. Specifically the Acer
Aspire one, at AUD$430.00 it seems a great LOW cost platform to become a OWFS
server coupled with Apache seems a great self contained platform. 1.6GHZ ATOM
CPU, 1 G RAM and 120GB HDD. I would suggest at 1.6ghz maybe a good platform
for a ubuntu server class install that would be able to host a modest Apache
installation. Must be orders of magnitude better than an NSLU2.

Anybody have any thoughts experiences in using these newer "Netbooks" in a
365/24hr role. Although obviously not for critical applications, it would draw
little power and with wifi be self contained standalone with a great screen.
