My first test: 24 hours of a 10 second loop of directory reads (50 devices,
USB adapter, owserver/owdir) showed essentially no memory loss (4K
difference between the start and end). I'll test reads and writes as well.
Then the specific owfs program.

They use essentially the same code: libow. Is you perl script a loop, or is
it starting up owperl repeatedly?
