Yes. Then the ./bootstrap && ./configure && make && sudo make install
If you get a lot of wierd compilation errors ("no Xowserver found...")
it's a problem with libtools.
cp /usr/bin/libtool owfs/src/scripts/install/ltmain.sh
and repeat:
./bootstrap && ./configure && make && sudo make install
