Has anyone had succcess with the AAG WSV3 weather station?
On the surface, it seems quite appealing. A USB adapter (with DS2480B
internally beyond a CP2101 USB/serial adapter).
The weatherstation has a DS2760 providing the interface to a microprocessor.
My problem is the USB/serial adapter. Although it's supposed to be
supported, it doesn't work with OpenSuse or Ubuntu.

To be specific, the adapter is recognized and the port assigned to ttyUSB0,
but neither digitemp nor owfs can actually get it to respond like a DS9097U.
On the other hand, a real DS9097U on a real serial port works fine for
normal devices, but the wiring for the weather station is quite different.
The CP2101 manufacturer, Silabs, has a different version of their module on
the web site, but it doesn't compile cleanly.
