I've brought this up before: owserver eventually uses forever to respond to requests to some devices, more rarely crashes. This happens to more and more devices the longer owserver runs. The only way to recover is to restart owserver. I'm pretty sure it's related to 1-wire hubs like the 6 port Hobby Boards hub or the AAG one.
2.7p22 is pretty good, however. It might run fine for days and weeks. Most other versions that I've tried, including the latest 2.7p26 only runs for a few minutes. I'm using a logger program that continuously read devices (one at a time). Owfs is a great piece of software and would be even better if it fully supported these hubs. Would it help if I send a developer a Hobby Boards hub?
