There are free tunnel brokers like sixxs.net which I am using at home for quite some time now. Works pretty well! One would surely need some kind of firewall before adding this to a network with worldwide connectivity. What came to mind was if something like this could also be implemented in ownet or owserver in addition to the existing functionality.
