How interesting. I couldn't get my DS9097U working with 2.7p29, so for the
hell of it, I tried downgrading to 2.7p21 (got the old version from sf.net),
and sure enough, it just worked.
I haven't done a binary search, but there is definitely something wrong
between 2.7p21 and 2.7p29.
