So, there are 2 issues.
First, the:

error on bus /dev/DS9097U
Can't it say which branch of which hubid (since I have 3)?
3 hubs devices:

So why are all producing an error, even if empty, and working anyway?
and couldn't the code say which subbranch it's unhappy with when it's saying
something is wrong?
This is with owfs-2.7pl32
As for
gargamel OWFS[7678]: CONNECT: ow_reset.c:BUS_reset(29) 1-wire bus short
circuit.
Is there a chance the code knows which branch the error is on?
